Porter | Exploring Life {Niagara Modern Baby Photography}

Meet Porter~ actually, you may have seen him here on the blog before, for his newborn session! This time we were celebrating his first birthday, and so we met out on the beach at Port Dalhousie for some portraits to capture this moment in time. Porter’s family is just downright gorgeous…and so easy to photograph! I love that Porter’s parents understand the importance of professional photography. Jen (Porter’s mommy) has been one of my best referrers- I can hardly count how many wonderful clients she has sent my way since Porter’s newborn session! Steph’s Family | Life to the Fullest {Port Dalhousie Photographer}

This is Steph and her fiance Chris. I’m excited to be photographing their wedding in October! Before the big day, Steph asked me to photograph her family as they all wanted images with a very special person- Grandma. They wanted to capture their family in one of their favorite places… no white wedding dresses, just them being together. The location also spoke to Grandma’s background; having lived on the coast most of her life, the lighthouse and sailboats were the perfect backdrop for their official family portrait! Grandma has a hard time getting around, but she was amazing and always had a big smile on her face. She was completely adorable and I loved how she made sure to co-ordinate with everyone as well. I think she really enjoyed being out on the beach. We had stunning weather that evening, and an incredibly beautiful sunset. All in all, a perfect night!

Nancy & Ethan {Port Dalhousie Child and Family Photographer}

“There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and son”

Nancy contacted me for a session for herself and her 4 year old son, Ethan. We shot at Port Dalhousie on Mother’s Day weekend. It was a sentimental session for them- a new beginning, at one of their favorite places to be together.

I encouraged them to bring along some of their favorite activities to personalize the session, as well as a change of clothing to add variety to their images. I think the results speak for their self. Their session was full of love, laughter and fun. We played football, Boggle, tickled in the grass, skipped rocks, found sea shells and just had a blast!
